We photographed Emily and Drew's wedding in 2006. They returned today to have us take some new pictures of them. Thanks for a fun afternoon!

It was a dark and stormy night...

Well, April had envisioned a pretty outdoor wedding at sunset at Mount Magazine state Park near Paris, Arkansas. Instead of "pretty" and "sunset," we had 50 m.p.h. wind, dark skies, torrential rain, dense fog, severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado watch. The sign for the lodge looked like something out of a horror movie!

While most brides (and photographers) would have given up at that point, April said "it's picture time!" and we ventured out into the night.




Here are a few pictures taken in an abandoned campground. Creepy!

She didn't want "pretty pictures." Instead, she wanted "something artistic I will actually hang on my walls." We try and cater each bridal session to the bride's own wants/tastes/desires. Alison + Chad = Engaged!

We had such a great time shooting Alison and Chad's engagement pictures in downtown Bentonville! Here are a few of our favorites.











This last one was actually taken after we were already done. The whole time we were walking around and shooting, the sky had been very boring and gray, much to our frustration because we like to incorporate cool skies into our pictures whenever we can. Then, after we were done and on our way into Guido's to grab a pizza, this incredible golden light poured everywhere, and the sky opened up into a perfect sunset. So I grabbed the camera for one quick shot in the parking lot on our way in. Better late than never, I guess! : )





Before you know it, it will be time for their wedding in November, after which we will be able to show off the images from Alison's gorgeous bridal session. We can't wait!

Rachel Parker's Bridal Photos

A few favorites, taken at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The following four pictures were taken with a plastic film camera called a Holga. This camera gives a surreal; almost dream-like effect.

Finally fall!

We love fall. It's our favorite season! We especially can't wait for the leaves to start turning so we can get out there and take some beautiful pictures of brides and kids in the autumn splendor!

In the meantime, here are a few family snapshots from yesterday. While Bear was at football practice, we enjoyed the perfect weather while playing around in Gulley Park.
