The Heart Gallery
We are thrilled to have be asked again this year to participate in the Heart Gallery of America and the Heart Gallery of Northwest Arkansas. The Heart Gallery is a traveling photography exhibit that connects foster children to permanent families. We'll be donating several sessions and prints over the next few weeks to foster children in our area. Last year our photos travelled the state including a gallery showing at the William Jefferson Clinton Library in Little Rock. To learn more about the Heart Gallery and adoption, go to their website.

Production Update!
Are you working hard? We are! We've shipped out two coffee table books already this week and have a third to deliver on Friday. We've got our most recent weddings to get online to our proofing site, and will be doing that in the coming days. All online print orders are up to date and at the lab for printing and shipping! And then the retouching and printing of our weddings.... never-ending! Jason is locking himself in the office on Friday morning and not leaving until Sunday night! Kori is taking the kiddos to their grandparent's house so I can get caught up on the wedding editing. My goal by the end of this weekend is to have all weddings edited through January of this year. So if you are waiting on retouched wedding prints and discs... they are coming soon!!! And then next week, back to coffee table books! On the way out the door today to the fields of east Central Arkansas for a rockin' sunset bridal session with one of our brides, Rachel from L.A. Have a great day!!

Cassie + Eric
Cassie and Eric are getting married this July in Hot Springs. Here are a few pictures from their engagement shoot:
Mena
Kori's hometown of Mena, Arkansas was hit pretty hard by a tornado on Thursday, April 9. Her family was all thankfully safe, and for the most part their houses ended up okay, but not everyone down there was so lucky. We spent all day Friday documenting the tornado's aftermath and destruction. Our prayers go out to all of the injured and to the families of those who lost their homes and their lives.

Who's #1?
We're very honored to have had some of our images in the top 10 of the Wedding Photojournalist Association's latest contest! These contests are open to photographers across the world, and we are continually amazed at the caliber of the content that we find on WPJA. We are so honored to have our images ranked on the site!
Our very own Kori was also named as the #1 photographer in Arkansas once again. We love what we do, and it's always fun to be recognized for it! A big "thank you" to all of our awesome brides and grooms who make these cool photos possible. You're the best. Go team! : )
Also a shout-out to Rick and Debbie with Cineast Films... They recently moved to St. Louis, but we're so glad they're still booking weddings here in NWA! We got to work with them on Saturday, and we were just reminded of why they're so awesome. They are so passionate about what they do, and it shows through in their work. Plus they helped us to get that top 10 you see up there in the "Other Vendors" category, so we're thankful! If you haven't already, check them out! You'll be glad you did!

Bridals... *sigh.
The anticipation is killing us! We are sitting on two awesome bridal sessions that we shot for our brides this weekend. Just one more day till we can show them off!
Kara and Kris are going to be shooting Michelle and Charlie's wedding at Central United Methodist tomorrow, and Kori and Jason are pumped for Christina and Jacob's outdoor ceremony. We also just found out that the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette will be featuring both girls in their Northwest Profiles section. It's going to be a fun weekend... We can't wait!
