Brittney & Jason

A few photos from Brittney and Jason's engagement session this evening. Congrats you two!

Our Artistic Side

Kori and I recently became the first photographers in Arkansas to be inducted into the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association! It's a pretty selective group... To be inducted, you must first have what it takes to become a member of the parent organization, the WPJA, and then you must have at least one image place in an Artistic Guild contest to become a member. We'd never tried before, so we figured we'd give it a shot, and between the two of us, six of our images placed! It's an international competition, so we were really excited! and click on the gold medallions by our names.

To see the winning images, go to this page and click on the gold medallions by our names.

Thanks to all of our brides for having such awesome weddings! You guys make it easy on us!

The Twins

Took some time Sunday afternoon to join my brother and his wife at Wilson Park to play with my twin nephews, Luke and Levi. This was my first time to see them walking!

Michelle and Ray Got Married!

Kori and I had an absolute wonderful time photography the wedding of Michelle Fawcett and Ray Canode yesterday. They booked us for 10 hours straight and we packed the day with awesome pictures for them. Rick and Debbie from Cineast Films were on hand to film the wedding.

Here's the lovely couple!

Pam at Flora did a fabulous job on Michelle's Orchid bouquet...

This was Michelle's wedding gift to Ray. Not too shabby!!

They hired the band Molten Lava to play at their reception at the Pinnacle Country Club. These guys played over three hours non-stop, not even taking the breaks they were scheduled for. Someone paid the band $100 to play one more song because no one wanted the night to end!

We'll have their wedding collage up in a day or two. There are a LOT of photos for us to sort through!

Congratulations you two, and thank you for choosing us to be your photographers!

Isn't she lovely!

Hey blog fans... sorry for the lapse in posting to the blog the last few days. Kori and I have been incredibly busy trying to catch up with wedding editing and retouching. Later tonight we're taking eleven wedding orders to the post office (thank goodness for that 24 hour kiosk thing they have). If you've already gotten married and don't have your photos yet. be sure to email us your current address. We have a couple of boxes here ready to go out that we don't have addresses for yet.

We are very excited to be photographing Michelle and Ray's wedding tomorrow! Here are a few close-up photos from her bridal photos I made the other night.

One year already!

A big "thank you" to all our family, friends/clients for all your love and support over this past year.

Here's to many more fun filled years!

Fun in Barbados!

While on our way to Barbados this past week we had a 12 hour layover in Miami. We took a taxi down to South Beach:

Once in Barbados we checked out our resort, Crystal Cove. Here is one of the three pools:

We wore a lot of white it seems!

Here's a photo of Kori and I taken by a guest at the wedding reception:

We went over to Crane Beach, named one of the "Top Ten Beaches in the World" by "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."

After Crane Beach we headed back over to Bottom Bay Beach, the site of the wedding we photographed last Saturday. Here's Kori with her new friend:

Self Portraits:

Boats and a sunset at St. Lawrence Gap on the south side of the island:

We lived on these things most of the week!

My bathing beauty!

A sunset as seen from our hotel:

Thanks for looking!

Barbados Wedding Photos!

Be sure to check out Carly and Dustin's wedding photos! Kori and I took a bunch of fun photos during our stay on the island and will post those in coming days.

We're off to Northeast Texas now for a bridal fashion shoot!

Greetings BLOG fans!!!

We're on our way back from Carly and Dustin's Barbados wedding, and we can't wait to show you the BEAUTIFUL images we were able to capture at that amazing location. We are headed down to Texas Thursday to shoot a bridal portrait, but will be back in the office on Friday. We fell like we have been literally living out of suitcases since about March. We have had a blast but am ready to settle down in the office and knock out some wedding images!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WAITING ON YOUR WEDDING PRINTS AND CDS: I am just about ready to wrap up Mandy and Heath's wedding photos from May 5th and get those delivered to them, so that's where we are at on our production of wedding photos. If you are waiting on wedding pictures, be sure you have emailed us your current address to we can get everything out to you as soon as possible. We hope to have some office time next week where we can get some of these weddings out of our computers and into your hands! We know you're excited to see your pictures and we can't wait for you to see them all!

Barbados Bound!

It's just after midnight... Kori and I have returned from Mount Magazine State Park where we photographed Sarah and Clint's 4th of July wedding. Now we're going to pack up and leave the house in about four hours for the airport. No sleep for us tonight! Later this morning we're flying off to Barbados to photograph Carly and Dustin's wedding. Their big day will be this Saturday, 7-7-07, the most popular wedding date of the year! We'll return next Thursday, so check back later next week for pictures from our Barbados wedding!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Ok, well... apparently here in NW Arkansas its going to rain every day for the rest of our lives. We've rescheduled so many shoots the last few months due to rain, that tonight we said *#$%* it, we're shooting anyway. Kori and I both had engagements shoots Monday evening. We prefer to shoot outdoors because the location are limitless and much more creative than putting people in front of a studio backdrop. So tonight, we figured we would just figure it out!

Here are a few images I took of Carrie and Scott:

And here are a few that Kori took of Megan and Tim, same time, same location:

A big thanks to Miranda at Pink Papaya for letting us use her bridal suite for some shots!

Well, it's 2 a.m. We've been working since 8am yesterday morning. Time for bed! Long day Tuesday trying to get everyone's wedding photos off to the lab before we shoot a July 4th wedding on Wednesday at Mount Magazine, and from there we head to Barbados to photograph a destination wedding. Keep your eyes open for pictures from those wedding coming up over the next couple of weeks!

Emily's Bridal Photos

Kori and I had a great time photographing Emily and Brian's wedding last night. Here are a few images from her bridal session:

Thank you Arkansas!

We just wanted to say "thank you!" to the readers of Celebrate Arkansas magazine for voting Hudson Photography #1 photographers in the state!

Also we were pleased that the magazine ran a four page spread of our "Route 66" photos for their "Road Trip" section of their July issue.

Thanks again everyone!
