I made a road trip to western Kansas this past weekend to photograph Tasha and Derek's Wedding. This image was taken while driving back home. It's fun to drive through Tornado Alley in the Springtime!!!
I am proud to welcome three new members to my team!
Kori Daniel, Kim Lowery and Lydia Clark made their debuts at the April 22 wedding of Melissa and Kris.
These three will be working as second photographers for David Yerby and myself throughout 2006.
Kori has been covering weddings as the bridal editor of the Northwest Arkansas edition of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette since 2004. Kim has been second-shooting for another local wedding photographer for the past couple of years, and Lydia has an extensive background in fashion and portrait photography.
Thanks for helping me out on Saturday, and I look forward to working with all of you again soon!
When Melissa Bridges was planning her wedding to Kris Dankovits, she knew there was only one person she wanted presiding: Little Rock Mayor Jim Dailey.
She was delighted when he made the trip up to Northwest Arkansas to officiate. Their wedding in Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel was one of his first ceremonies outside of City Hall.
Congratulations, Melissa and Kris!
Laura Kaffka threw a surprise birthday party for her husband Seth on Friday night, April 7, at George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville. It was a really fun night with no major problems... except perhaps a cake catching on fire!
Laura flew in the Dan Band and Double Impact to entertain. Both bands got the party started right, and everyone had a blast. In lieu of gifts, guests donated money to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
I must say, however, that I was envious of Seth's gifts from his family: six electric guitars autographed by some hot music talent! Happy 30th Seth!
Congratulations to Amanda and Franklin! They were married on Saturday evening April 8th in beautiful, historic Hot Springs National Park. They couldn't have had better weather. It was an absolutely perfect day, and the couple was a blast to work with!
Here's the beautiful bride!
And I'm not really sure what the flower girl is doing here!

The annual Heart Gala will be held this Saturday night at the Embassy Suites of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.
Jason Hudson Photography is proud to be donating two photo sessions for their silent auction. Congratulations to those of you who purchased tickets, as all 650 of them are already sold out! Thanks to the lovely Dr. Vina for doing such an incredible job putting this all together!
